Why do automotive hardware stamping parts cause tearing? The quality of the finished products in the stamping factory will lay a reliable foundation for the appearance and performance of the vehicle. Common tear and skew forms of metal stamping parts The stamping process of the middle protective bracket is: blanking punching - punching incision - flanging forming - incision - flanging. There are various forms of tearing and skewing during the forming process of the intermediate protective bracket. The tearing parts are mainly distributed in the hole shape of the workpiece, the junction of the R arc and the wall neck at the corner of the side wall, etc., due to stamping forming and production. Due to the difference in process conditions, the proportion of each fracture site is different. The tear can be a one-time forming tear or a tear due to the development of fatigue cracks, i.e. invisible cracks.


Analysis of the cause, according to the actual situation on site, by checking the tearing position, fracture shape and crushing degree of the workpiece, it is believed that the tearing and skewing behavior of the workpiece is mainly reflected in the flanging forming process. The reasons for this process phenomenon are as follows:


The forming process parameters are not implemented properly. During the forming process of the part, the process requires the die, the pressing material core and the two parts to be closely attached together, and the forming is realized by pressing the plastic deformation of the sheet when the slide of the machine tool slides down. However, due to the shortcomings of unstable quality of the pressed parts, it means that the pressure of the machine tool is in an unbalanced state of pressure beating during the production process. The main reason is that the processing technicians did not adjust the pressure of the machine tool in time at this stage according to the specified requirements of the process, or did not communicate with each other about the stability of the machine tool pressure during the handover of each shift, resulting in poor quality of the parts. Stablize.


Design defect of flanging forming mold, this mold is shared by one mold and two-cavity left/right parts. Since this process includes flanging and shape forming content, and the parts are particularly complex, the curved surface is narrow, and the forming requires concave mold pressing. The core is in line with the forming surface, etc., resulting in a large forming stroke and a small pressing area of the mold structure. In the initial mold design, the designers only considered the feature of the small binder surface, but ignored the forming guide sliding stroke of the binder core.
